Two things that inspired me on the day we welcomed a new President:
- Amanda Gorman’s poem, The Hill We Climb, which she performed at the inauguration.
“...because being American is more than a pride we inherit. It is the past we step into and how we repair it.”
- Tobe Nwigwe's cover of Wake Up Everybody, originally by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. It's one of my favorite songs and this is now one of my favorite versions.
